[English]
I have added Othello Lessons to FlipSight.
In Game Review, you can now jump from the bot coach's explanation straight to a related lesson, and you can report explanations that look wrong to help make the coach more accurate.
1. Othello Lessons
- 26 lessons in 8 chapters are open now, from the history and rules of Othello to corners, mobility, openings, fighting for good squares, edge tactics and the endgame. More lessons are on the way.
- Each lesson has example boards you can play through and practice problems.
- When you are logged in, your completed lessons and progress are saved to your account and carry over to other devices.
2. Coach explanations now link to lessons
When the bot coach explains a move in Game Review's Key Moments, a "Related lesson" link appears under the explanation if a lesson covers it.
Tap it to open that lesson and practice the same idea with examples and problems.
Below is an example from a real game.
Tap the explanation to open the full text.
3. Report a coach explanation
The coach's explanations are generated automatically from its judgement of each position, so sometimes an explanation doesn't fit the position.
If an explanation looks wrong, please tap the beacon icon at the end of it and let me know. It helps a lot in making the bot coach more accurate.
A line or two about what seems off is plenty, and you don't need to be logged in.
