[EN/JP] FlipSight Support Is Now Open

Hello!

We're grateful that more and more people are enjoying FlipSight. With that in mind, I've decided on one direction going forward.

FlipSight will remain a service that anyone can keep using for free, with no ads and no subscriptions.

That said, I develop and run FlipSight entirely on my own, and I cover all the server costs myself. Servers aren't free — running them takes ongoing money, and as more people use FlipSight, there will likely come a point where it's hard to carry that alone. So I've opened up a way to support the project.

Supporting changes nothing

Every feature works exactly the same whether or not you support the project. There are no supporter-only features, and no advantages from supporting. I plan to keep it that way.

If you do support FlipSight, a supporter badge appears next to your nickname, and your name is added to the list on the support page. That's all it is — simply a token of thanks, with no strings attached.

How to support

You can support FlipSight via PayPal on the support page below. You can send whatever amount you like, and the amount you send decides how long your supporter badge stays active. If you support again, the period is added on to what you already have.

When you send your support, please put your FlipSight nickname in the PayPal note. Without it, there's no way for me to identify you and give you the badge, so I'd really appreciate your help with this.

Please don't feel any pressure — it's more than enough to think about it whenever you have room to. Just enjoying FlipSight is already a big help.

ありがたいことに、FlipSight（フリップサイト）を楽しんでくださる方が少しずつ増えています。そこで、今後の方向性を一つ決めました。

FlipSightは、これからも広告やサブスクなしで、どなたでも無料で使い続けられるサービスにしていきたいと思っています。

ただ、FlipSightは私一人で開発・運営しており、サーバー費用もすべて自分で負担しています。サーバーは無料ではなく、運営には費用がかかり続けます。利用者がさらに増えると、一人で抱えるのが難しくなる時期が来そうです。そこで、支援（寄付）の受付を始めました。

支援しても変わることはありません

すべての機能は、支援の有無にかかわらず同じように使えます。支援者だけが使える機能も、支援によって有利になることもありません。これからもそのまま維持していく予定です。

支援していただくと、ニックネームの横に支援者バッジが付き、支援ページの名簿にお名前が掲載されます。それだけです。純粋に感謝のしるしであり、どんな条件も付きません。

支援の方法

FlipSightは、下記の支援ページからPayPalで支援できます。お好きな金額をお送りいただけ、お送りいただいた金額に応じて支援者バッジの有効期間が決まります。追加で支援していただくと、期間がそのまま積み重なっていきます。

お送りいただく際は、PayPalのメモ欄にFlipSightのニックネームをご記入ください。記入がないとお名前を確認できず、バッジをお渡しする方法がないため、この点はぜひお願いいたします。

どうかご負担に感じず、余裕のあるときに考えていただければ十分です。FlipSightを楽しんでいただけるだけで、すでに大きな力になっています。
